This blogroll is inspired by the Kerala Blog Roll. It is amazing what the blog roll has done to the malayalam blogging world, in terms of exposure and team spirit! But, I did not want this blog roll to be restricted to Kerala and Malayalam language. It reflects most of my interests, Photography, Travel and Malayalam too. I've basically collected feeds from all the blogs I'd been following (this list is growing), which has a descent posting frequency, and organized it into a few categories.

I have used the same planet tool used in the Kerala Blog Roll, but with some modifications that I needed. Firstly, I pulled out a preview text (about 512 characters), after removing all HTML tags, which is displayed for each post. I also wanted a preview of images in the post. One can see images, if any, on the right side of the preview text. If there are more than one image in a post, click on the first image to see the next. I also changed the timezone to IST as opposed to UTC in the planet tool.

The feeds are collected at about half an hour frequency, with a daily archive. The complete list of blogs used for the blog roll is below, from which some are chosen to be in the photography, travel, politics & current affairs and malayalam sections. The entire gamut may be found in the latest posts section, where the last 3 days posts are collected. Every day, when the date changes, a day's posts is saved in the daily archive and I retain the last 30 days archive. Ofcourse, this is not done in an accurate manner, as of now :)
