I did a trip to Lahaul and Spiti in August 2015 . Addictions. We all have some small demons we have to fight. In my case, my demons are socially sanctioned- sort of. Cigarette aren't illegal (yet) and I didn't even know I had another addiction until last week.

The Jakkur Lake in Bangalore is in the north-eastern part of the city. Today, it is one of the largest and cleanest water bodies in the city.
This would not have been possible without the initiative taken by the people who took keen interest in developing it into a beautiful and scenic place. This 160 acre lake allows for limited fishing activities and is frequented by various birds.

Mismanagement, corruption and resulting crowd menace at Ranthambhore is increasing every year. It is no more a place where you can watch a tiger walking the forest in peace. After every visit, I said to myself that this is going to be the last time. But the tigers of Ranthambhore keep bringing me back.
