This flower, seen during a January 2007 drive from Bengaluru to Ooty, via Masinagudi ghats, immediately caught my attention. Like I said before, it was always tough for me to get proper focus on tiny and bright yellow objects. After so many failures, I tried manual focussing and this was the best click I could manage.
